Joseph Corkal arrived through Ellis Island on March 8, 1909 on the Kaiser
Auguste Victoria. He was 16 years old, from Tasovice, Moravia and his father
was Phillip Corkal of Tasovice, Moravia. He was on his way to Rogers,
Nebraska to visit his brother Miloslav Corkal. He was 5 feet 2 inches tall
with light hair and grey eyes. His fare had been paid for by his brother.
His occupation was listed as a farm labourer.

Notice the passenger he was traveling with Vincenia Bockova. She was 19
years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, brown hair and grey eyes. She was heading
to Nebraska to visit her "brother-in-law". Her home town was Tasovice and
her father was Josef Bockova. I think this is Miloslav's future wife!
The proper page numbers at the Ellis Island site are 0086 and 0085. Don't
ask me how I found this.
